The Broulee Public School P&C welcomes new members at any time of the year - come along to a meeting. We usually meet in weeks 3 and 8 of each term, and these efficiently run for around an hour. Watch the school newsletter
Click here (https://broulee-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/newsletter.html ) for any changes. Being part of the P&C shows your children that you care about their schooling. It's a great way to get to know other parents and have a say in what your school is aiming to achieve. You can contribute to decisions on how the funds that the P&C raises are spent. Choose your level of involvement to suit your family's lifestyle – every helping hand (no matter how small) counts towards improving what our school can provide for our children. There are many roles, such as suggesting new fund-raising ideas, helping with a future fete stall, helping the gardening club teach our children horticulture, organising social or learning events for the school, writing letters to politicians, helping with writing and delivering speeches, teaming to obtain grants to fund special projects, selling school uniforms, serving in the canteen and organising small or large fund raising activities. We work with an excellent school body. In 2013 Broulee Public School was one of only sixteen schools statewide acknowledged by the Director General, Dr Michele Bruniges for its significant contribution to public education. Broulee P&C strives to be aware of current educational trends and political issues so that we can lobby effectively to voice our opinions on how government funds should be spent most effectively on education. We aim to represent your voice as Parents and Citizens to achieve the best possible outcome for our children's education. We welcome your input to achieve this. Email us at: [email protected] |
